Yi Technology Company has announced its first drone Yi Erida, which is made in a very interesting form factor — it has only 3 vanes. It is known that triсopters are very maneuverable and have better controllability than quadcopters.
Two of its three blades rotate and can be folded for travel, which makes drone very portable.
Its body is made of carbon fiber — strong but lightweight material, that allows drone reach speeds of up to 120 km / h (75 miles / hour) and stay in the air up to 40 minutes on a single battery charge.
It is the best result among almost all existing drones.
At the bottom of the drone, there is a special attachment for Yi Action Camera, which allows you to stabilize the camera and rotate it for shooting all around.
But you can also use another action cameras with this drone.
Controlling the drone and the camera is possible by a smartphone app, so there is no need to use any additional controllers.
