Instant temperature measurement

“Smart” thermometer MiJia iHealth is able to quickly and very accurately determine the temperature of the body, thanks to the use of a state-of-the-art thermal sensor Heimann. The sensor very accurately determines the IR rays emanating from the body, on the basis of which it makes a further measurement of the temperature indexes.

Now there is no need to sit with a mercury thermometer for 5-10 minutes in anticipation of the measurement results. Simply point the device at the center of the forehead (the distance between the thermometer and the forehead should be 3 cm) and press the single control button, then the display will show the measurement result. The instrument fixes the excess of permissible values of 36 ℃ - 37.4 ℃. After obtaining the result, you can proceed to the following body temperature measurements.

Professional calculation algorithm

In addition to the temperature sensor MiJia iHealth is equipped with improved sensors for ambient temperature and distance. One of them in real time monitors changes in ambient temperature (with a speed of 100 times per second) and reduces its influence on body temperature measurement, providing high accuracy of the index (up to 0.1 degrees). The second sensor — continuously monitors the distance from the device to the forehead of the user and automatically suspends the measurement when leaving the range of 3 centimeters.

Long-term operation of the thermometer

As a power element of a non-contact thermometer, a pair of finger batteries are used, which will be sufficient for approximately 3000 measurements of body temperature.

It is necessary to direct the non-contact thermometer to the forehead and maintain a distance of not more than 3 cm.

To start the measurement, you need to click on the oval button with the thermometer image.

As soon as the thermometer finishes measuring the indicator, it vibrates and the result is displayed on the screen. If an error occurs, the result will not appear on the display and vibration will not follow either.
