Yes! Xiaomi presented it's two new smartphones which every fan was waiting for. The presentation took place in Beijing. As we are already known some of the characteristics were confirmed before the release day.
Surprisingly Xiaomi presented two new models: Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE. So let's look at the newcomers!
Mi 9
Mi 9 is the first smartphone featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. The 7nm process technology with a maximum frequency 2.84GHz. What is more, Mi 9 flagship has got 387,851 points at AnTuTu. Sounds impressive!
There is a special Game Turbo mode. You can play all the games you want. The graphics card is Adreno 640.
Xiaomi Mi 9 uses a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The weight of the smartphone is 173grams.
The design looks really flawless.
To create such an interesting holographic effect a nano-holographic pattern and double-layer nanocoating were used. There are three colors available: black, holographic blue and purple.
The camera is one of the reasons to buy the model immediately. The triple camera includes 48MP main lens by Sony,12MP lens with 2x optical zoom and 16MP wide-angle lens. The camera supports macro mode and Super Night shooting mode.
The design of the rear camera ring is called "Angel Eye".To protect the camera the sapphire lens protection is used.
The front camera features a 20MP lens. To provide the security of the phone it supports the screen fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock.
Talking about the battery it features a 3300mAh battery with Quick charge 4 protocol support. Also, the smartphone supports 20W wireless charging and 27W wired charging.
The DxO Mark officially scored the Mi 9 camera at 107 points. It means that the camera is in the "top 3" rank of best smartphones camera.
Also, the “Alita” version was presented with a powerful 12GB of RAM! That is awesome! The model has a transparent rear panel. Other features of the phone are the same.
The standard versions will be available in 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of flash memory.
Mi 9 SE
This smartphone is a small version of Mi 9. The model features a 5.97" Samsung AMOLED display.
What is the difference with Mi 9?
It is lighter, the weight is only 155 grams, the size is equivalent to the traditional 5,1” smartphone.
Talking about the camera it also features triple module. The main camera module features a 48MP lens in combination with 13MP and 8MP lenses. The camera abilities are the same: supports “Moon Mode”, Super Night Mode etc.
In terms of performance, it has got the Snapdragon 712 processor with 10nm process. According to AnTuTu, it has got 187626 points.
Mi 9 SE has got 3070mAh fast-charging battery. The screen fingerprint sensor and NFC are also supported.
The model also can boast of holographic design.
There are three variations available - black, purple and blue with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage.
