Mi A2 REVIEW

This new smartphone was created according to the Android One Program by Xiaomi in cooperation with Google. The device literally “bombed” the world of MIOT Ecosystem.

Powerful, beautiful and high-tech Mi A2 received ovations at the presentation! 

That’s why we decided to check if this device is worth buying or not? For our review, we have the 4/64GB version in black color. 

PACKAGE 

The device is supplied in the white box with smartphone image and logo “Mi” and “AndroidOne” on it.

There is a “Global Version” label on the side of the box. 

The package contents consist of:

• Power adapter
• USB Type-C
• SIM needle
• Protective silicone case
• USB Type-C to 3.5 adapter
• User manuals

We are glad that the manufacturer didn’t forget to include the audio adapter. It is very important because many of the users have especially 3,5mm headphones.

DESIGN

Mi A2 looks really cool. Thin body, rounded edges and camera module, placed vertically. 

It is worth to note the quality of rear panel and edges. The smartphone is really pleasant to touch and very convenient in operation even despite its size (5.99-inches).  

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to make all the operations by one hand. But it is a tendency of the smartphones world. Display size becomes bigger and bigger. 

And please don’t compare it with the predecessor – Mi A1. These gadgets are really different. 

Maybe, if we compare the design we won’t see any difference but the technical aspects of the device are really better in the new model.

The new smartphone by AndroidOne program is really powerful. It has a “non-flagship” price and flagship characteristics.

PRACTICAL USE

We have told earlier that smartphone is very convenient in a use. Let's talk about performance. 

It is really impressive. Firstly, the device has got 118247 points at AnTuTu and this is really cool. 

Secondly, we had been playing the Real Racing 3 for an hour and there wasn't any sign of “frozen display”.

Talking about the power consumption, it used 19% of power for the 1hour game (WiFi was turned on) and heated up. 

CAMERA

Xiaomi specialists used the maximum resources to provide the model with a qualitative camera.

CONCLUSION

Xiaomi and Google should be proud of their device! The general impression is quite pleasant! Powerful, beautiful, stylish and modern – all of this is about the new one Mi A2.
