Yesterday Xiaomi has launched the Mi Pad 2 — the second tablet manufactured by the company. This new model is lighter and thinner than Mi Pad — it has only 322g and 6.95mm (compared to 360g and 8.5mm of the predecessor).
The tablet is equipped with 7.9″ IPS Display with resolution 2048×1536 px, 326ppi. It is powered by a quad-core chipset Intel Atom x5-Z8500 with 2.24GHz frequency and has 2GB LPDDR3 RAM.

The device has a fast charging 6,190mAh battery so it can work up to 648 hours on standby mode or 12 hours during online video watching. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11ac module and USB Type-C port.
The Mi Pad 2 is designed in two modifications — with 16GB and 64GB storage and comes in Android-based MIUI 7 and Windows 10 (optional in 64GB version) variants.
