REVIEW: Redmi 6 Pro

The new one model of Redmi line was launched together with Mi Pad 4. Let’s look closer to the Redmi 6 Pro. This model is the first non-flagship model with a notch design.

Packaging

It comes in a typical red box with the logo on the front side. The model will be available in five color variations: blue, black, gold, red and pink. The guest of our review is the model in black color.

The display looks wide, but at the same time, it is not frameless. You can see the small borders, but it doesn’t spoil the general design. The model is provided with 5.84-inches display with 19:9 aspect ratio and FHD+.

Design

As we can see, the device can be powered via the Micro-USB port. The model has audio 3.5 output. The smartphone is with rounded edges and matte metal covering. The dual vertical camera and the fingerprint sensor are situated on the rear panel.

Camera

The dual camera is equipped with 12+5MP Sony IMX486 sensor. It supports PDAF, HDR, and AI Portrait mode. The AI selfie camera has the 5MP sensor, produced by Samsung.

Performance

To provide the high performance the model uses the Snapdragon 625 processor. To meet all the user needs like playing games, listening to music and watching movies the model is equipped with 4000mAh battery. Talking about the memory, the model will be available in 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of memory. In addition to this, you can expand the internal memory up to 256GB thanks to the triple card slot. Redmi 6 Pro comes with MIUI 10, based on Android 8.1.

So, it is quite a budget-friendly alternative to the top flagship smartphone that will perfectly fit the daily needs, work and study.
