Toslink optical audio cables carry digital audio as light, which is immune to electrical interference and hum, and supports surround sound formats such as Dolby Digital and DTS. They are used to connect TVs, game consoles, Blu-ray players, soundbars, AV receivers and DACs. Check the cable length and connector type before ordering, as some devices use mini Toslink connectors. Braided cables are more durable, while slim cables fit in tight spaces. Avoid bending optical cables sharply, as this can damage the fibre and reduce sound quality.
