Rearview monitors display the picture from a rear view camera, which makes reversing and parking easier and safer, especially in large vehicles, vans, trucks, caravans and RVs. Dashboard screens sit on the dashboard or windshield, while mirror monitors replace or clip over the rear-view mirror and show the camera image when reversing. Some mirror monitors also work as dash cams that record the road ahead and behind. Check the screen size, number of camera inputs, mounting type and power source before ordering. Larger screens are easier to see, while mirror monitors keep the dashboard clear. Monitors with multiple inputs connect side and front cameras too. Bright screens are easier to see in daylight.
