RFID dry inlays — antenna and chip without adhesive, designed to be embedded into cards, tickets or product packaging during manufacturing. Available in UHF and HF/NFC versions.
Dry inlays are RFID chips with an antenna on a thin film, supplied without adhesive, so converters and label printers can laminate them into their own labels, cards, tickets and packaging. They are the most flexible option for custom RFID products and large production runs. The main choices are frequency and chip: UHF inlays (860–960 MHz) with chips such as Impinj Monza or NXP UCODE are read from several metres away for retail, logistics and inventory, while HF/NFC inlays (13.56 MHz) with NTAG or MIFARE chips work at close range with smartphones. Check the antenna size, memory and read range for your reader before ordering in bulk.
Adhesive version: wet inlays.
