A worn charging port causes slow or unstable charging, and replacing the board also fixes the microphone on many models. Clean the port first to rule out lint, and match the board to the exact ZTE model number.

A worn or corroded charging port is the main reason a ZTE phone charges slowly, disconnects, or does not charge at all. Before replacing it, clean lint from the port — if that does not help, a new tail connector board usually fixes the problem and often the microphone too.
