DJI Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 drones are still widely used for aerial photography, surveying and inspection, even though they are no longer made. Common repairs include gimbal motors, gimbal ribbon cables, propellers, motors, landing gear and shell parts after crashes. The gimbal flat cable is especially fragile and often needs replacing. Match each part to the exact Phantom model, as Phantom 3 Standard, Advanced, Professional and Phantom 4, 4 Pro and 4 Pro V2.0 use different parts. Calibrate the gimbal and IMU after repair, and test-fly in an open area.
