Seat posts — suspension seat posts, dropper posts and carbon posts.
Seat posts hold the saddle at the right height, and upgrading the seat post can improve comfort and convenience. Suspension seat posts absorb bumps from rough roads, cobblestones and trails, which makes city bikes and trekking bikes much more comfortable. Dropper posts lower the saddle with a lever while riding, which lets mountain bikers move freely on steep descents and raise the saddle again for climbing. Carbon seat posts are lighter and absorb vibration. Check the seat post diameter (such as 27.2 mm, 30.9 mm or 31.6 mm) and length before ordering, as it must match your frame exactly. Seat post shims adapt smaller posts to larger frames.
