Galaxy Note Series Parts: Screens, S Pen Parts and Housings for Galaxy Note Phones
Samsung ended the Galaxy Note line after the Note20 series in 2020, but many Note phones remain in use, especially by owners who rely on the S Pen for notes and drawing. With no new models, repair is the only way to keep these phones working, and parts for them are in steady demand.
Note screens
Galaxy Note phones from the Note 8 onwards use large curved-edge AMOLED displays. Curved screens are difficult to remove from the frame without damage, so many technicians choose screens with the frame pre-installed. The Note10 and Note20 series use an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, which works with original-grade screens; LCD alternatives are more affordable but usually lose this function and look less vivid.
Other common repairs
- Back glass covers: cracked backs are common because of the large glass surface.
- Charging port flex: worn USB-C ports on Note 8, 9, 10 and 20 cause slow or unreliable charging.
- Camera modules and lens glass: fix blurry photos and cracked lenses.
- Speakers and earpieces: restore weak or distorted sound.
- Flex cables for buttons and the S Pen detection sensor.
- SIM trays and side keys: small parts that are often lost or damaged.
The S Pen
The S Pen is housed inside the phone, and its silo and detection sensor can be damaged in drops or by forcing the pen in. If the phone no longer detects the pen being removed or inserted, check the related flex or sensor before replacing the pen itself.
Matching the model
Each Note generation and size variant has unique parts. Note10 and Note10+, or Note20 and Note20 Ultra, are not interchangeable. Check the model number in Settings, About phone.
Repair tips
Use a heating pad and patience when opening Note phones, as their curved glass and large size make them prone to cracking. Disconnect the battery first, handle the curved screen by its frame and test the S Pen, touch and fingerprint sensor before final assembly.
