Auxiliary lenses — wide-angle and telephoto converters, fisheye and close-up lenses that attach to camera lenses.
Auxiliary lenses attach to the front of a camera lens and change its field of view: wide-angle converters capture more of the scene, telephoto converters bring distant subjects closer, fisheye lenses create a distorted, ultra-wide view and close-up lenses let you focus on small objects for macro shots. They are an affordable way to explore new types of photography without buying new lenses. Check that the auxiliary lens fits your lens thread size, and use step-up or step-down rings if needed. Image quality depends on the glass, so choose multi-coated optics for sharper results.
