A faulty flex cable can cause a black screen, unresponsive buttons or a phone that does not turn on. Match the cable to the exact Tecno model code before ordering, and disconnect the battery before replacing any flex cable.

Tecno flex cables are thin and easy to tear, so release connectors with a plastic spudger, never metal tweezers. When a button, sensor or display works intermittently, a flex cable is usually cheaper to replace than the component itself.
