Fibre receivers, media converters and SFP modules connect fibre optic networks to copper Ethernet networks, which is essential for extending networks between buildings, connecting remote cameras and building FTTH and campus networks. Media converters change fibre signals into standard Ethernet signals, so you can connect fibre cables to normal switches and devices. SFP modules plug into switches with SFP ports.
