Door handles break from frequent use, cold weather and age, which can make it impossible to open a door from the inside or outside. Replacement handles are a cheap, effective fix compared to dealer parts. Interior handles, exterior handles and handle covers are available for many car models. Check that the handle is made for your car's make, model, year and the correct door position (front left, front right, rear left or rear right) before ordering. Some handles come in primed finish for painting to match the car's colour. Installation usually requires removing the door panel.
