S-Video cables in various lengths.

S-Video cables carry video signals with separate brightness and colour information, which gives better image quality than composite AV cables. They were widely used on older TVs, VCRs, DVD players, camcorders, game consoles such as PlayStation 2 and GameCube, and computers with S-Video outputs. Many retro gamers and video archivists still use S-Video to get the best picture from older equipment. Check the cable length and connector types before ordering, as some devices use 4-pin and others 7-pin connectors. Shielded cables reduce interference. S-Video carries only video, so audio needs separate RCA or 3.5 mm cables. S-Video cables are hard to find in local shops today, which makes this collection useful for retro gaming enthusiasts, collectors and anyone digitising old home videos from VHS and camcorder tapes.
