CRC9 and TS9 connectors are used on many portable 4G hotspots and USB modems from Huawei, ZTE, Netgear and other brands, and adding an external antenna can greatly improve signal in areas with weak mobile coverage, such as rural areas, basements and buildings with thick walls. Check which connector your device uses, as CRC9 and TS9 are not interchangeable, and choose an antenna that supports your network's frequency bands. Many devices have two antenna ports for MIMO, which improves speed with two antennas. Window-mounted and outdoor antennas offer the best results. Adapters connect TS9 and CRC9 to SMA antennas.
