Motorola phones use TurboPower fast charging, and a worn charging port causes slow or unstable charging, loose cables or no charging at all. The charging board also holds the main microphone, so replacing it often fixes call audio too. Clean the port first to rule out lint. Match the board to the exact model and year, as Moto G phones with the same number are released in several versions.

Before swapping a Motorola charging board, test with a known-good cable and charger and clean the port. If the fault remains, a new board is a quick, low-risk repair.
