Toshiba Satellite, Tecra and Portégé laptops are no longer made under the Toshiba brand (now Dynabook), but many are still in use, and replacement chargers keep them running. Most Toshiba laptops use a 5.5 × 2.5 mm round tip with 19 V output, while some newer models use USB-C. Check the connector size, voltage and wattage printed on your original charger or laptop label before ordering. A replacement charger is often the simplest fix when a laptop will not charge. Chargers with safety certifications protect against overheating and short circuits. A spare charger is also useful for office and travel.
