Worn power and volume buttons are a common fault on Huawei phones used for several years, and in some models the side key also holds the fingerprint sensor. New buttons restore a firm click and proper response. Match the keys to the model and colour, and check whether the flex cable needs replacing too, as a worn flex can cause the same symptoms.
