Arca-Swiss and manufacturer-specific quick-release plates and clamps.
Quick-release plates attach to the bottom of a camera or lens and slide into a clamp on the tripod head, which lets you mount and remove the camera in seconds without screwing it on and off. Arca-Swiss is the most common standard, used by many tripod heads, gimbals and accessories, which makes it easy to move the camera between different supports. Manufacturer-specific plates fit only certain tripod heads. Check the plate length, the screw type and whether it has an anti-twist lip that stops the camera from rotating. Keep spare plates on each camera and lens to save time.
