Replacement Force Touch and classic trackpads for MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, with matching flex cables available.
A trackpad that does not click, clicks unevenly or stops responding is often caused by a swollen battery pressing from below, so check the battery before replacing the trackpad. Force Touch trackpads on newer MacBooks use haptic feedback instead of a mechanical click and need a matching flex cable. Older models use a classic mechanical trackpad. Match the part to the model number on the bottom case, as trackpads differ in size between MacBook Air and MacBook Pro and between generations. Calibrate and test the trackpad before closing the laptop.
